Swim Tank clinics are designed for children who have an established freestyle and back stroke who was to improve their form and technique.

Instructors will offer directions and corrections both in and out of the water. They will demonstrate and break down every aspect of the strokes in order to facilitate your child’s understanding and performance. Their feedback, praise, and motivation will encourage your child throughout their experience.

This level will focus on advancing your child’s  racing format for their freestyle and backstroke while challenging their endurance. We will also focus on the development of their breaststroke, butterfly, and racing turns.  At our Mamaroneck location racing starts will be introduced.

These are the badges your child will earn in this level

Whale Level
Student must be able to consistently demonstrate the following skills
80 to 100 yards (4 lengths of pool) of freestyle Must now have correct racing arms
80 to 100 yards (4 lengths of pool) of backstroke Must now have correct racing arms
20 to 25 yards (1 length of pool) of full breaststroke Kick, arms, & timing must all be correct
20 to 25 yards (1 length of pool) of butterfly kick Kick must be correct and strong

Shark Level
Student must be able to consistently demonstrate the following skills
80 to 100 yards (4 lengths of pool) of freestyle Must now have correct racing arms
80 to 100 yards (4 lengths of pool) of backstroke Must now have correct racing arms
40 to 50 yards (2 lengths of pool) of full breaststroke Kick, arms, & timing must all be correct
20 to 25 yards (1 length of pool) of full butterfly Kick, arms, & timing must all be correct
